For our team building, leadership and management  development  programmes the "Involve me and I will understand' principle is the one we follow. All our courses are designed to offer hands-on experience by doing and not just listening, using a metaphoric approach to explore particular aspects of team building and management training.

We adopt a holistic approach that balances physical, intellectual and emotional aspects of personal development. This is characterised by the use of a wide variety of physical, creative, intellectual and reflective activities. This holistic approach allows us to offer inclusive programmes so everyone gets involved and no individual is excluded.

 

Experiential Learning

The Call of the Wild approach to all training and development has its origins in Kolb's learning cycle. We believe that this action based approach, through experiential learning programmes, is the most productive in terms of retention of learning. Our programmes can contain a mix of classroom based sessions and outdoor practical based challenges to develop theory and highlight desired competencies such as communicating, motivation and empowering.

Our programmes are designed so as to have relevance to the workplace with these key lessons being drawn out by skillful review, reflection and facilitation. From this review comes participant driven self-learning.
