Geraint Lewis from Call of the Wild Ltd has been shortlisted at the Leading Wales Awards 2010, which recognises and celebrates outstanding leaders across Wales.

Geraint Lewis, Managing Director at Call of the Wild Ltd is one of the three finalists in the “Leading Management and Leadership Skills Development” and “Business Leadership in the Community” categories sponsored by Leadership Management Wales and The Church in Wales respectively.

The Leading Wales Awards recognise great leadership at all levels across the public, private and voluntary sectors in Wales, and celebrate individuals whose leadership skills have made a strong impact and resulted in positive change within their organisations.

“Wales has outstanding leaders in all walks of life and these awards celebrate the people who, thanks to their superb leadership skills, have made a real difference in their organisation,” said Barbara Chidgey, chairman for the Leading Wales Awards, the consortium of public, private and voluntary sector organisations that developed and organise the awards.

“As always, the calibre of entries has been extremely high with nominations put forward from right across Wales. Our finalists have all made an impact with their leadership and we are delighted to be able to recognise that with these awards.”

“ I am honoured to have been selected as a finalist in these prestigious awards,” said Geraint Lewis. “ It is  unusual  to be singled out in this way as a successful business is grown based on the quality and commitment of its staff, which is the case with Call of the Wild. However it is flattering to have been selected alongside business leaders who are acknowledged as being at the top of their industries and professions  in Wales.”
