For almost 10 years, Call of the Wild has delivered management training and development programmes to some of the UK’s leading companies, including Barclays, Orange, BT, Cisco, Jaguar and the BBC. All our programmes are developed in consultation with our clients and are carefully structured to meet their organisational needs. Our own team have experience of training successful teams from a variety of backgrounds, be they the 2003 England Rugby World Cup team, the Ashes England Cricket team or top-class FTSE 100 companies.

Management Development Challenges

Management Training in the Beacons, UKOur training courses are designed to have a 'real world' focus which aim to develop skill sets that are relevant to management and leadership in today's workplace. We are fortunate to be located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and outdoor challenges can play a central role in our training depending on client needs.

Not all programmes are based outdoors. In fact, the famous Llanelli Scarlets rugby team actually completed a one-day goal setting programme entirely indoors; likewise, we are currently delivering a two-day classroom-based creativity workshop to Panasonic.

Our management training programmes help develop the whole person. In this context personal self-development can be defined as the identification of abilities that make the manager more self reliant and better equipped when returning to the workplace. This provides managers with the opportunity to develop the skills that will complement those gained in other kinds of management training.

UK & Overseas Training Locations

However, we are not restricted to the Brecon Beacons and this year alone we have delivered courses to companies in London, Birmingham, North Wales, the Peak District, the South West, South East of England and even Paris. These were delivered at hotels, conference venues and the natural environment.

Accreditation and Course Duration

Management training courses can be accredited with the Institute of Leadership and Management. We can offer ILM Level 3 Certificate in Coaching for Team Leaders and First Line Managers, Level 3 Award in Leadership and various ILM endorsed and development awards.

The duration of the programmes is dependent on the outcomes required. Course length can therefore vary from a half day to 3 to 4 days. The accredited courses run over a period on months. With many of our clients we have ongoing relationships and this means that we deliver to them on an ongoing basis.
