With the establishment of Call of the Wild's e-learning onlinedevelopment academy we raise the question is online learning the way forward for personal development? This exciting new facility is designed to both enhance our Face to Face development services and also to act as an invaluable learning resource our clients can use throughout their managerial career.
This has been stimulated by feedback from our clients. A number of recurring issues kept arising. Firstly time away from the office and its associated costs. Most training and development programmes will require time away from the office. Therefore the more this can be eliminated the better. Secondly retention of learning, course material can be posted on the site together with pre and most importantly post course material. Thirdly CPD - For continued learning after the programme.
If you would like to use our oniline development academy then give us a call or contact us and we can provide you with login details.

Another idea is to actually get outside for your meeting. Don't sit around a table in the traditional way but actually walk the talk. Go for a stimulating walk with the stunning backdrop of the Park. An excellent way of the getting those creative juices flowing - a creative and enjoyable way of conducting those boring meetings. Not only is it good exercise, but also leave the formality of the office behind, which can stimulate free thinking and open discussion.
The BBC 's "Apprentice" is back with Alan Sugar again in top form. 16 new contestants have, allegedly given up, well paid jobs to take part in the new series. You have to question soem of these peoples motives for being on the show. However, they have been selected from 10,000 applicants apparently. The star of the show is as always Alan Sugar who's wonderful one liners and put downs are the highlight of the show. he seems to be able to sum up in a witty sometimes down right rude one liner the issue. Excellent TV.

Call of the Wild’s Motivational Leadership and Team Building Programmes and workshops are designed to guide your leaders and the teams they lead through the process of creating high performance teams.
Alan Chambers MBE, who in spring 2000 led the first British team to successfully walk the 500 miles from Canada to theGeographic North Pole and Dave Thomas, member of the first expedition to cross Iceland in winter conditions, run the programmes. Alan has wide experience in delivering training to both large and small corporate organisations and has been involved with the English RFU and the Ashes winning English Cricket Team as a motivational speaker.
Our Team Building programmes are created to meet your specific outcomes and set the experience and lessons gained by Alan and his team during their incredible journey, against a background of sound leadership and team-building theory. Your Leaders and Teams will learn the critical success factors and behaviours of high performing teams and how to transfer these skills to the workplace.
These workshops are not your usual “barrels and planks” and “what went well?” event. Our workshops use powerful metaphors to focus on what is needed to produce extraordinary performance. The following areas will be covered:-
Planning and preparation;
Team selection and alignment;
Goal setting and alignment;
Managing complexity;
Maintaining focus;
Critical success factors;
Dealing with uncertainty;
Effective communication.
